Forecast Discussion
Skies will be mainly clear tonight as high pressure still remains the predominant feature. Patchy fog is likely to develop, but coverage should be limited as east-southeasterly flow picks up ahead of the next disturbance. Mostly sunny skies can be expected for tomorrow with the high pressure moving out. However, by Saturday, chances for showers and embedded thunderstorms will arrive. This is due to an upper trough and open wave low pressure approaching from the west. Temperatures will be at their warmest tomorrow due to this low pressure, as we are currently in the warm sector. Chances for precipitation will last through the weekend and into early next week, with heavy rain and gusty winds being a threat. The disturbances should move out by Tuesday evening, allowing drier air to filter in and temperatures to cool.
