Beautiful weather is expected to continue as pressure builds within this deep trough stationed over much of the eastern United States. This evening, what few clouds remain will likely move out by the later night, becoming clear. Wednesday will observe similar conditions to Tuesday, with a high near 78 degrees, and cloudless skies. Pressure will continue to rise, contributing to this stretch of calm weather, while northerly flow continues to funnel in below average temperatures and abnormally dry air. Overnight will experience continually clear skies, while Thursday experiences a slight warm up to around 82 degrees as a building ridge becomes the dominant feature for the remainder of the week.

As our area becomes positioned downstream of a ridge, higher pressure will continue to dominate, though warmer southerly flow will begin to be pushed upwards into the Midwest. Thursday, while still relatively clear, will experience a high near 88, which will continue to increase by Sunday, where the high will reach 93 degrees. Additionally, more moisture will make for a few more scattered clouds to develop through the weekend. Savor this cooler weather while it lasts!
