Tonight is expected to be clear with temperatures dropping into the low 60s. Temperatures will warm back up into Wednesday afternoon, sitting around 90 degrees. Cloud cover will begin to increase into the afternoon as a warm front approaches. The warm front has progressed slower than anticipated in previous forecasts, models now show its passage Thursday afternoon. This front has the chance to bring some light showers to our region but may miss us entirely. Thursday, temperatures will climb into mid-90s, with heat indices well above 100 degrees.

Friday will also have mid-to-upper 90 degree high temperatures. Friday night a cold front will pass bringing some showers that will linger into Saturday. Saturday and Sunday will see relief as temperatures fall back into the low-to-mid 80s.
