A complex setup of systems is in play to change up our weather patterns this week. Tonight, a weak cold front passes through the area along an immature midlatitude cyclone. This will make for a few clouds and showers to pop up overnight, though these will clear by the morning. Temperatures will cool down a bit for Wednesday, but a zonal upper-level pattern will still keep things warm, at a high around 87 degrees. With more moisture hanging around in the area, an isolated storm has a slight chance of popping up during the day as well. Things calm down a bit during the night, though Tropical Storm Debbie, which will be riding along the East Coast by Thursday, will push that core of the low pressure system that had previously passed through back up through southeastern Ohio, pushing in plenty more clouds and warmer temperatures back to 90 degrees.

By Friday, another more mature midlatitude cyclone from the west will push a dry cold front through much of the eastern United States along a strong upper-level trough, forcing the messy complex of systems to move eastward, and introducing not only calmer weather, but cooler temperatures for the weekend. Higher pressure will settle in, keeping skies relatively sunny and beautiful, and this pattern appears to be hanging around for a bit as well.
