Forecast Discussion

The National Weather Service Charleston has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for our area that will be in effect until 11 am Wednesday. This is due to snow accumulations up to 2 inches plus a light ice accumulation as Winter Storm Harlow makes its way through our area. Because of this, be cautious when driving on roadways as they may be slick. More information can be found on the NWS webpage.

Tonight, expect the snow showers to continue transitioning into freezing rain early tomorrow morning. Expect conditions to clear by mid-morning with temperatures getting into the mid-40s; however, another system will bring us rain as we enter the evening and nighttime hours. These showers will exit our area Thursday morning and give us a nice break from the snow and rain, but temperatures will drop throughout the day.

This clearing will only last a couple of days as we anticipate a wet weekend ahead with showers spanning from Saturday morning into late Sunday morning.
