A slow moving cold front creeps through our region, pushing in some scattered storms over the next day. Overnight, a few isolated storms may develop in the early morning hours, and a few showers may still linger around in the later morning. Throughout the day, more clouds will be overhead, and a few scattered showers and thunderstorms may still pop up during the afternoon and evening, though these pose little severe risk. Temperatures will be cooling down dramatically by Wednesday as well, back down to the low 80s. This cooling trend will persist through Thursday as a troughing pattern develops, though as high pressure builds back into the region, temperatures may reach back into the upper 80s, albeit far less humid.

Friday into the weekend appear to be quite calm and pleasant with relatively cloudless skies on Friday transitioning to more clouds by Saturday into Sunday. For the time being, rain seems out of the forecast for the next few days.
