Our trough persists as a stationary front still lingers to our south, which has kept moisture locked in our area. This, in turn, has kept the skies mainly cloudy, with a few showers and thunderstorms popping up in the area. Tonight will still be cloudy, though a few breaks are possible tomorrow as conditions remain relatively similar to the last few days, with an isolated shower still possible. However, a cold front from the northwest will move into the area later on Wednesday, which could kick up a few showers and thunderstorms as it passes through in the early evening. Following this, temperatures will cool a bit back to the mid 80s on Thursday, but cloudy cover will finally let up as pressure becomes high again.

Into this weekend, more of the same is to be expected, with a brief warming trend expected Saturday into Sunday amidst more sunny weather. Thankfully, overcast skies and precipitation remain out of the forecast until the start of the next working week.
