Forecast Discussion

High pressure has parked itself in the region, which will continue to promote clear and hot weather for these next few days. Tonight, skies will remain cloudless, and this will continue through Wednesday as a high of 86 degrees is reached. Winds will remain relatively calm as well through Wednesday evening, though a few clouds may move in and out of the skies overnight. Throughout Thursday, skies will be partly cloudy as a cold front lingers north of Ohio. However, temperatures will remain high at around 90 degrees.

By Friday, mostly cloudy skies will be present as the cold front creeps closer. However, high pressure will still be dominant, leading to a high near 90 degrees once again. By later in the day on Saturday, however, the cold front will transition to a stationary front, and will promote the development of scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. These showers and thunderstorms will persist through Sunday as well, though the presence of this front will cool the region back down to the mid 80s.
