With the hot sun and calm winds, heat indices are expected to rise to over 100 degrees at times. Be sure to keep cool this week, stay hydrated, and wear sunscreen if you are to be outside to avoid the risk of heat stroke as the area is under a heat advisory until 8 PM Friday. Tonight as well as tomorrow, some small thunderstorms may arise in the evening due to the surplus of moisture in the air however, our biggest risk this week will be the high temperatures.
