Issued: 8pm on Tuesday, June 6th 2023
Tonight, a passing cold front may result in a few scattered sprinkles of rain overnight, and will also cool temperatures in the area to a low of 47 degrees. The consistent winds from the north will continue to push smoke from Canada’s wildfires into the area, making tomorrow hazy, much like previous days. Tomorrow’s weather will be comfortable, with a high of 77 degrees and sunny skies. Despite the nice weather, the smoke will make for a worse air quality, so limit the amount of time you’re spending outside. Clear skies will continue through the evening and night, and winds will drop to 0-5 mph.
Come Thursday, a few clouds will move in to the afternoon, but temperatures will remain at a pleasant 75 degrees. 5-10 mph winds from the north-northwest will continue, but the cold front from Tuesday night will have pushed a lot of the haze from the area. As the week closes, Friday and Saturday will be relatively similar in conditions, but a break from this warm and dry pattern could be imminent come Sunday, with some much needed rain showers potentially returning to Southeast Ohio.
