Tonight will feature gradual clearing as a weak disturbance briefly passes over our area, with only light sprinkles expected at best. Upper level ridging and surface high pressure will build into the area for the next couple days, keeping conditions dry for much of the work week. The main system to focus on will be a low pressure system approaching from the Great Lakes later this week, providing chances for rain Friday afternoon through Saturday. The warm front associated with the low will lift north into the region Friday morning, bringing slightly warmer temperatures in the mid 60s before the arrival of a cold front Saturday morning. A Hazardous Weather Outlook is currently issued for portions of southeast Ohio due to this system, with heavy rainfall Friday into Saturday possibly causing localized flooding concerns. In addition, another windy Saturday is expected after the passage of the low pressure and cold front, with gusts up to 45 mph possible. This means power outages will be possible once again! A wind advisory or high wind warning will likely be issued by the National Weather Service depending on how breezy it gets. Winds will slowly begin to calm down by Sunday morning after the low pressure finally moves out and the pressure gradient weakens.
