Current radar imagery shows a few scattered showers and storms moving through the southeastern Ohio region. This precipitation may periodically come and go throughout the evening at random, and continue on later in the night as well, thanks to a stationary from developing from a cutoff low pressure center. Throughout Wednesday as well, a few more quick pop up storms could develop in the morning and afternoon thanks to a surplus of instability in the area. Thankfully, these storms pose no severe risk. Temperatures will still remain in the mid 70s throughout the day. Overnight Wednesday, the showers finally will move out of the area, leaving clearing skies into the morning of Thursday. Partly cloudy skies and a high near 81 can be expected on Thursday, a nice break between our rounds of rain this week.

Unfortunately come Friday, another round of showers and storms is possible in the afternoon along another cold front. So far, severe weather isn’t likely, but this returning rain may be a nuisance. Rain may linger into Saturday’s afternoon as well. Once everything has passed, a new week of clear, warm weather seems favorable, so hang in there with your umbrellas for the next few days!
