Forecast Discussion
A stationary front resides just south of the Ohio river, but drier air out of the north will keep precipitation at bay until Thursday. Diurnal patterns will continue to dominate, with overnight lows dipping into the mid-50s, and highs soaring back into the lower 80s tomorrow. A strengthening low pressure out in the southern Plains will lift a warm front through the SE Ohio region by Thursday morning, bringing back chances for scattered rain early in the day. A break in the rain is expected before a line of heavier rain showers and possible thunderstorms push through during the early evening hours with an approaching cold front. High pressure will then briefly settle in on Friday and dry us out, but another Low is expected to influence our forecast later in the weekend.
