We are currently entering a ridge as the trough, which brought us a ton of rain on Sunday, has passed. Since we were on the backside of the trough earlier today (Tuesday), that brought us some sunshine as there was a high pressure over our area. This ridge that we will enter in won’t last very long as another trough will make its way through on Thursday. This will bring more precipitation tomorrow (Wednesday) night and on Thursday. We will then be under a brief ridge on Saturday and going into Sunday, before things start to change then. Long story short, we are now in a period where the jet stream is moving more meridionally (N and/or S) than zonally (W to E). This means more activity weather-wise, more storms/systems, etc. The good news is that this shift could continue to help with our drought, even if it is past growing season for most things. Moving on, here is a breakdown of the high, followed by low, temperatures. For the highs, it will be in the low 60s both tomorrow and Sunday, low 50s on Thursday, and mid 50s on Friday and Saturday. For the lows, it will be in the low 30s tonight, low 40s tomorrow night, on Friday, and on Sunday, and mid 30s on Saturday.
