A fairly deep trough is in the process of being pushed out by a developing ridge. Tonight will see overcast skies become more partly cloudy after midnight, with a slight chance of a pop up morning shower. However, higher pressure will have taken hold tomorrow, making for surprisingly nice weather for our Tuesday. Partly cloudy skies will last through the night, though another approaching trough will make these pleasant conditions short lived.

Wednesday will see clouds dominating most of the day as pressure drops. Winds will pick up as well, with gusts up to 20 mph. Rain is set to approach the area in the later half of Wednesday, with rain lasting overnight into Friday morning along a cold front. Temperatures are set to begin to drop once more as the weekend approaches, and Friday and Saturday are looking to be gloomy until Sunday, when our trough begins to weaken.
