Forecast Discussion
A strong ridge over the eastern half of the United States will continue to bring record breaking heat to the southeast Ohio area for the next couple of days. Conditions will remain hot and dry here while a deepening trough out west begins to make its way east, which will bring a strong but dry cold front through the area on Thursday evening. A small amount of rain is possible but not likely. Temperatures will be much cooler and more fall-like on Friday and will likely stay that way for the foreseeable future as we get deeper into October. The next real chance of rain will likely be on Sunday as the next trough enters the area.
