The remnants of Helene, or whatever is left of those remnants (which isn’t a lot), is now mostly gone and will be out of the Ohio during the day tomorrow (Wednesday) as the cloud cover will slowly subside throughout the day tomorrow, giving way to clearer skies by the evening hours. Afterwards, there isn’t really much to talk about. We’ll be under a broad ridge and high pressure throughout the rest of the week as the jet stream will be more zonal (moving West to East), which means that there won’t be any troughs digging down and bringing rain. That is, until Sunday, which is when a trough will form as it moves very quickly across the United States in a matter of about 24 hours. The trough will roughly start digging farther south as it gets into the Great Lakes Region, leading to us getting a quick round of thunderstorms on Sunday evening. So, for the high temperatures over the next several days, it will be in the low to mid 70s tomorrow, followed by low 80s from Thursday through Saturday, and possibly mid 80s on Sunday, though that is dependent on when the thunderstorms come through. Looking ahead to next week, it is looking like the high temperatures will drop into the high 60s and low 70s. Anyway, enjoy the nicer weather this week (and especially next week if the high temperatures hold true)!
