Forecast Discussion
Broad high pressure at the surface is dominating the Athens region. This high pressure is expected to start moving off to the East tomorrow, as a result temperatures are expected to be slightly warmer. Clouds from tropical depression Beta will move into our area, guidance is suggesting most of the precipitation to stay to our South from this system. Thursday night into Friday, shortwave disturbances aloft will shift conditions as the chance for precipitation increases. Another system is expected to make its way to our region bringing precipitation early next week.
