Forecast Discussion
A clear and considerably cooler night in store as the low temperature looks to dip into the lower 50s. Some patchy fog may develop in the early predawn hours of Thursday, but quickly disperse as sunny skies progressively dominate throughout the day. Dry conditions will pursue through Thursday night and into Friday before a cold front from the NW approaches the region Friday afternoon. Ahead and along the frontal boundary, moisture will remain low as well as other factors, which will keep the chances for precipitation low. This front will push just south of the region before becoming stationary along southern Ohio throughout the second half of Friday and into the weekend. Any precipitation will be light and limited to locations near and along the front. Temperatures will consistently fluctuate near 80, but begin to slightly increase throughout the weekend.
