Tonight, partly cloudy skies after sundown will see increasing clouds overnight. Temperatures will fall to a low of 63 degrees, with winds at 0-5 mph from the southeast. Pressure will begin to steadily drop overnight as a weak low pressure embedded in a shortwave travels move southeastward. The ridging pattern will steer this low to be southwest of our area on Thursday, minimizing any precipitation locally. Despite this, cloud cover will be abundant in the morning hours of Thursday and continuing through the afternoon, only partially clearing by the evening. Thursday will see a high of 84 degrees, with winds from the south at 5-10 mph.

Thursday evening will see those partly cloudy skies lingering throughout the span of the night, as winds shift to be from the south-southeast as the low continues its track eastward. Fog in the early morning hours of Friday is also possible, but will burn off as the sun rises. Partly cloudy skies are to be expected Friday, though pressure still remains slightly low. Winds will shift to be from the north at 0-5 mph as the low is stationed even further southeast of our area. Precipitation Friday will also be unlikely, though a high of 89 degrees will be hotter than previous days. The ridge will continue to move further into the region by the weekend, keeping conditions hot and dry for a bit. By Sunday, though, a low pressure system from the upper Plains will have tracked into the Midwest, bringing with it a chance of thunderstorms along another cold front late Sunday and into early Monday.
