Tonight will see increasing clouds as pressure drops from a developing low over our area. Rain will be likely overnight, with total accumulations around half an inch. Thus, a flood watch has been issued by the National Weather Service. This rain will likely be steady, though a rumble of thunder is possible. Temperatures overnight drop to a low of 65 degrees as winds shift from the south to the east, at 0-5 mph. This rain will linger into the morning of Thursday, though will stop by noon at the latest. Clouds will thin as the day progresses, becoming sunny by the late afternoon. Winds will be from the northwest at 5-10 mph as the high reaches about 81 degrees.

A return to a more stable pattern seems likely Thursday night and into Friday, as pressure rises once more and clear skies persist overnight Thursday. Temperatures will drop to 61 degrees as winds blow from the west at 0-5 mph. A weak ridging pattern will take hold Friday for a bit as temperatures rise to 86 degrees. Despite some darker clouds in the morning, precipitation is unlikely, and these clouds will thin to be scattered in the sky throughout the rest of the day. This weekend could see a brief disruption with a quick surface low moving through the region, promoting some scattered storms Saturday. Despite a break from the rain Sunday, another low pressure system is forecasted to enter the region Monday, bringing storms back to Southeastern Ohio.
