High pressure will move out of the area as an approaching low-pressure system will move through early morning Thursday morning. This will bring rain as early as the morning commute through Friday morning as a warm front moves into the area Thursday and a cold front Friday morning. Winds can be gusty at times with pockets of moderate to heavy rain. The upper-level trough associated with the system will move out and return to zonal flow and high pressure into the weekend. A secondary cold front from a clipper system in Canada will move through Saturday morning and bring temperatures down to the 30s, but precipitation will likely not occur. High pressure continues until a low-pressure approaches from the Great Plains.
