Forecast Discussion

A cold front will move through the region tonight, creating a slight chance for some snow flurries for SE Ohio. High pressure will return tomorrow, allowing for mostly sunny skies. Skies will remain mostly clear into the night as well; therefore, the nighttime low is anticipated to drop into the teens as radiative heat is lost Thursday night. Sky cover increases slightly into Friday as another system heads our way, but the afternoon should remain dry.

An occluded low will bring rain and snow to the region on Saturday. Models are not in complete agreement just yet, but it looks as if SE Ohio will see snow first before precipitation transitions into rain. Models suggest half an inch of snow will accumulate before a few tenths of an inch of rain falls Saturday night into Sunday afternoon. Fortunately, though, Monday looks to be dry.
