Forecast Discussion

Isolated showers and thunderstorms that are within the area will imminently dissipate as the sun begins to set. Low-level moisture and calm winds will keep some clouds around overnight as well as some patchy fog development into early Thursday morning. Temperatures will consistently stay near the mid-80s in addition to some lingering moisture. High pressure will remain within the region for late week and promote mostly sunny conditions, but in addition, a stationary front will be lifted just south of our region. This will in turn create an unstable environment and allow for isolated showers and thunderstorms to initiate into the afternoon hours through early weekend. The risk for severity will remain very low, but cannot completely rule out a strong wind gust or some flash flooding as they will pulse up and become “slow-movers”.
