High pressure is going to continue through Thursday allowing for mostly sunny skies to continue as well. By Thursday night and through early Friday morning a shortwave/cold front will move into the region and bring a line of showers through NW Ohio but should weaken by the time it reaches SE Ohio leaving a few small lingering showers.

A strong surface high pressure will then immediately fill in behind. This will result in a big warmup over the weekend and into the start of next week. Afternoons highs will warm into the mid-and-upper 90s.
