Due to the high-pressure system currently sitting over our region, we saw clear skies today that we will continue to see into the night. The overnight clear skies will cause temperatures to drop to an overnight low of 23 degrees with calm winds. Moving into the day Thursday, the high pressure will remain as skies will remain clear for most of the day, and during the evening we will begin to see clouds move into the area. Temperatures on Thursday will reach a high of 54 degrees. Thursday night and into Friday, a low-pressure system will move in from the southwest bringing light rain for most of the morning on Friday and lowering the temperature range to an overnight low of 40 degrees. During the day on Friday, rain should move away from the region by midday leaving behind some clouds and temperatures at a high of 50 degrees. The low-pressure system will bring in some slightly cooler temperatures for the weekend with temperature highs ranging in the 40s.
