Forecast Discussion

As high pressure shifts off to our southeast, clouds will build in overnight ahead of a cold front expected to push through tomorrow. Any precip before noon will most likely be scattered rain showers, with coverage increasing throughout the afternoon and into the evening hours as the front approaches. The front should clear our area early Friday morning, and any remaining scattered showers should clear out around then. Temps behind the front will be cold, dropping into the mid 30s briefly before staying in the 40s throughout the weekend. Lows will be in the 20s and are not expected to get above freezing. A weak disturbance could bring a slight chance for snow showers Saturday night into Sunday under these conditions.
