Forecast Discussion

Mostly clear and calm conditions will maintain overnight as a stationary front remains well lifted along northern Ohio. Another hot day in store for Thursday as the high will near 91 degrees, which will break yet another record for Athens, Ohio. A well defined cold front is expected to approach and pass through southeast Ohio by late evening Thursday. Strong surface winds may gust upwards of 25mph in presence of this front. The chance for a rain shower/weak thunderstorm ahead and along this front will remain relatively low due to numerous factors, but not completely ruled out.
