Tonight, we will continue to see rain showers into Thursday morning as a surface low-pressure system hangs over the region. We are observing southwesterly flow into the area, sweeping in more moisture, leading to a muggy Thursday. With this moisture and the passing of a cold front overnight, we can expect to continue to see cloudy skies persist throughout the day Thursday, with temperatures reaching the mid-70s during the day. Aloft, we are still observing a cut-off low which has helped to contribute to the dreary weather these past few days. Our rain showers will pass by the afternoon, and skies will begin to clear, moving into Friday, where we will also see a slight drop in our humidity due to the passing of that moist air mass. A large high-pressure air mass will take over as the dominating system going into the weekend, bringing up warm air from the Gulf.
