Forecast Discussion

Clear skies beginning tonight will see increasing clouds as the evening progresses, becoming partly cloudy by midnight, and overcast by the morning. These gloomy conditions will persist throughout Monday due to a weak cold front that has hung around through Ohio. This cold front will soon move off, but a stronger low pressure system will then move in, keeping clouds around and delivering rain to our area around Tuesday morning.

This rain will likely persist throughout the majority of the day on Tuesday, tapering off around 8 pm as the cold front leading this precipitation moves through. Much windier conditions are also to be expected during this time, with gusts up to 35 mph. Cloudy skies will still linger on Wednesday, but the rest of the week is slated to be much clearer, with temperatures in the mid 50s. Near the end of the week, however, cloudy skies return with a chance of rain as a low pressure system from the Gulf of Mexico moves through the deep south, potentially stretching some showers into the Ohio Valley.
