Forecast Discussion

High pressure at the surface continues to dominate with mostly zonal flow aloft, keeping things calm. Temperatures are on the upswing after a very potent cold front came through early this week. As temperatures get up to the high 60s early next week, we will expect some clouds and a chance for rain to move in on Monday as a shortwave trough pushes through the region.

A low-pressure system will bring a warm front that is going to be what we thank for those warm temperatures on Monday, but with that system, clouds will roll in, and then the cold front won’t be far behind. However, the cold front is expected to move through later in the work week, but thankfully this system is not expected to be as strong as the one that came through earlier this week.
