Showers linger from a passing system today, but then a persistent high-pressure system has set up over the Ohio Valley bringing clear skies and dry weather. Additionally, a warm-up will accompany high pressure which will be a nice change from the norm lately.

Mid-week next week we expect some rain showers and possible thunderstorms to move in ahead of an approaching cold front as moisture and instability move in from the Gulf.
