Ridging close to the surface has set up and will stick around for quite some time. This ridging will bring subsidence to our area providing for a stubborn high pressure. This will mean  VERY nice conditions with sunny skies and dry weather.

For the first time in what seems like forever, we expect these conditions to persist even through the long-term forecast. Additionally, the forecast high temperature will climb up into possibly the 90s by next Thursday, so make sure you are prepared for hot conditions!
