Forecast Discussion

Smoke from the Canadian wildfires drifting through our area today will create hazy skies and potentially cause poorer air quality. This will continue into tomorrow, as will the hot, sunny weather. Temperatures today will surge into the upper 80s and will get to around 90 tomorrow. Then, as the smoke moves out, low pressure moves in. A cold front will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms for Thursday, followed by more widespread precipitation coverage on Friday with another low pressure system. This all passes by early Saturday, after which highs drop to around 80 degrees.
