Forecast Discussion

Tonight, rain is expected with a chance of thunderstorms as a strong low-pressure system brushes past our area. The warm front that moved through and brought temperatures that reached the 70s and into the upper 80s unfortunately will not stay for long as a cold front will move through pushing rainy weather into the region and drop temperatures to an overnight low of 53 degrees. Rain will continue overnight and into Thursday through the early afternoon with temperatures sitting in the upper 50s. Weather will begin to clear as high pressure develops in the Great Plains region leading to clouds to begin to clear Thursday night. Friday during the day temperatures will slowly begin to climb as highs reach 60 degrees with partly cloudy skies.
