A slight cool down thanks to a dip in the jet stream, along with a cold front at the surface that came through yesterday afternoon will be prevalent over the area today. Mainly cloudy skies with highs in the 60s will be likely today. With cresting in the jet stream moving in tonight and tomorrow, highs will warm into the 70s briefly for Tuesday. However, a low pressure forming along the jet stream will bring a cold front in Tuesday afternoon. This will bring cloudiness to the area along the front. Highs will cool below the 70s once again for Thursday as an arctic high pressure makes its way down into our area Thursday and Friday. Warming up for the weekend will be likely, with highs recovering into the 70s.
