A cold front will push south and eastward across the state today. This will being chances of rain further north (mainly along and north of I-70) today. This evening into tonight, an isolated stray shower or rumble of thunder could be possible across southeast Ohio. Eventually, this frontal boundary will stall out, and lift north as a warm front tomorrow. This will allow summer-like air to be moved into the region toward middle week. An upper level cresting pattern in the jet stream will also cause this. Higher pressure values will allow mainly clear skies to persist throughout most of the week. A stray afternoon popup storm could be possible with this air mass, however. Eventually, a strong Canadian high pressure will move down into the upper midwest states, greatly cooling the northern half of Ohio with its cool air. However, this will not reach far enough south, keeping our region relatively toasty through the end of the week. Fall like relief will be possible eventually–into the weekend
