***The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a Flash Flood Watch until 2:00 AM***

Rain showers will become widespread tonight as a weak low will begin to form off to our south and west. These will remain widespread until tomorrow morning. Rain will begin to clear out tomorrow afternoon, as high pressure will begin to build off to our east. This high pressure is associated with a cold airmass, and will really chill the area down into the upper 70s and lower 80s for highs tomorrow. This airmass will hold over the area into next week. A weak cold front is expected to come through Sunday afternoon and evening. This will bring a very slight chance of showers and thunderstorms to the area Sunday evening. With solid shear and dry mid levels any storms that do fire along this front have a possibility of becoming severe. However, current guidance is very poor on instability. This will hinder storm threats Sunday. Going into next week, below normal temperatures are expected to take shape.
