Forecast Discussion

Cooler and drier air will be the story throughout the day on Monday. A high pressure associated with a cool airmass will move into the area tonight into Monday morning. This will clear skies out tonight, and allow temperatures to remain in the middle and upper 70s for the day Monday. If any outdoor activities are planned for Monday, that is the day to do it. As the high pressure moves eastward, flow will switch around to the east and eventually the southeast going into Tuesday. As this flow switches back to a more southerly component, warmer temperatures will be moved into the area. We will likely return to the lower 80s on Tuesday into Wednesday. Our next chance of rain looks to be Thursday into Friday, as the remnants of Hurricane Sally move close to the region. Much cooler temperatures look to be the story for next weekend.
