Technical Forecast Discussion Meet the Forecaster

Forecast Discussion

A strong area of low pressure over southern Canada will make its way east. Connected to this area of low pressure is a strong cold front. This cold front will push eastward throughout the day tomorrow, and stir up showers and perhaps a rumble of thunder or two tomorrow. The front will pass through the area tomorrow night. Behind the front, much cooler temperatures will be expected. Highs will be in the upper 70s Friday, with mainly clear skies as a strong high pressure moves in. This beautiful weather for this time of year will continue into Saturday, making Friday and Saturday the days to be out and about during the forecast period. As the high moves eastward, the flow will switch back to southerly, allowing warmer temperatures to move into the area Sunday. A possible system will move in Monday, bringing the next chances of rain. What this system does will have major impacts on next week’s weather. Not much is known at this time, but much more will be known in later forecasts–stay tuned.
