Forecast Discussion

For the day today Southeast Ohio will remain dry and cloudy as a weak cold front passes through this morning. Showers will be likely Monday night into Tuesday morning as a low pressure system from the Plains moves through. The trough looks to dig as we head into this period, so there is a possibility of having a a few thunderstorms move through in the early morning hours of Tuesday. With a pretty strong pressure gradient with this low pressure system, winds could gust up to 30 mph Monday night and into Tuesday. High pressure moves in on Wednesday, we clear for the day and highs will be in the mid 50’s. On Thursday, another low pressure system moves in to bring another chance of rain that will last into the start of the weekend.
