Forecast Discussion
Today we are located under a surface high pressure system and a ridge aloft which are influencing the clear skies this afternoon. We saw a cold front pass withing the last 24 hours which dropped our temperatures into the 60s during the day. Temperatures will continue to drop as the day continues and wind speeds will also continue to decline. A cold front is moving across the Central Great Plains and will pass through Ohio Tuesday morning, bringing clouds and and some increased wind speeds. We will see the most impact of this front on Wednesday, where temperatures during the day will be in the upper 50s and overnight will be in the upper 30s. This drop overnight may lead to frost overnight in some regions, especially in valleys. This cold front will put us in an upper level trough which will continue to bring down cooler air throughout the rest of the week, with gusty winds on Wednesday.
