After a week that was reluctant to warm up, it seems spring has sprung again for, what, the fourth time in the last 2 or so weeks? Tonight will be cool, with isolated showers potentially cropping up a few hours from now. Saturday will be milder than today, but with fair weather. However, this will mask some concerning developments for Sunday. A warm front will start to move in towards the evening, preventing nighttime cooling and bringing moisture up.

Sunday will be warm and quite muggy, with potentially the first 80 degree day of 2026, but the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has us under the gun for a Slight Risk of Severe Weather on Sunday for a reason. This risk has more to do with Sunday night, after 8PM, which isn’t covered in this forecast, but stay tuned for updates come tomorrow morning. Right now, the biggest worry seems to be straight-line winds, but the picture will get clearer to us over the next couple of days.
