Today will feel very seasonal before the rains of Wednesday roll in! Winds will begin clearing out later tonight, letting the low drop down to the upper 30s. An occluded low-pressure system to the south will have rain showers begin mid-morning on Wednesday, carrying into Thursday and early Friday. From 8am Wednesday to 8am Thursday, the Weather Prediction Center has Athens, OH in a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 4) on the Excessive Rainfall Outlook for possible isolated flash floods. Winds will stem majorly from the east before switching to the west come midday Thursday. Both Wednesday and Thursday have chances of wind gusts of 20+ mph.

Halloween on Friday is looking to be windy with some winds from the west and a slight chance of rain; the low will be dropping down to mid-30s, so trick-or-treating will be on the chillier end with some good breezes!
