Forecast Discussion

The National Weather Service in Charleston, West Virginia issued a Cold Weather Advisory that remains in effect until 1pm today, Saturday the 7th.

After a cold front passed overnight, temperatures have dropped rapidly from the 30’s into the lower teens. Today will be mostly the same with highs in the mid and upper teens with a cold Northerly breeze but, it will be dry. Today is the day to bundle up in an extra layer! In the next few days we will see a gradual warming trend with the highs mid week trying to crest into possibly the upper 40’s and low 50’s with low precipitation chances. Any snow melt at this point will become hazardous, walk through the upcoming slush with caution!
