Forecast Discussion
It’s been a lovely start to Mom’s Weekend over here at OU. The sun is shining but temperatures are mild, and the rest of your Saturday will be the same. Highs will struggle to get far above 60 thanks to a cold front that came through last night. It will get chilly again tonight, but fortunately, or unfortunately depending on your preferences, it doesn’t seem like that will last. Highs tomorrow might hit the 80 degree mark, but luckily it will be significantly more blustery, with increasing cloud cover.
This is thanks to an approaching system that looks like it will arrive on Monday morning. It is hard to tell what exactly this system will bring, but some much needed rain is not out of the question. High and low temperatures will stay above average through the beginning of the week, and the risk of showers and thunderstorms still remains difficult to pin down. As always, check back later once we know more.
