Due to our continued chance for rain today, the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for Athens County. This will be in effect until Sunday at 8 am.

Today, we can expect the chances for showers and thunderstorms to continue. We are once again under a Slight Risk (2/4) for excessive rainfall today. Tomorrow, we have chance for showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon/evening hours as well. During this time, temperatures will remain in the low-80s.

As the rain exits we will enter a warming trend, temperatures will begin to climb into the upper-80s and low-90s for the work week.
