Forecast Discussion

A prolonged active weather pattern begins today across Southeast Ohio. Showers and thunderstorms will arrive later this afternoon in advance of a slow-moving frontal boundary. This precipitation will become more widespread into tonight and tomorrow. On Sunday and Monday, the Storm Prediction Center has issued a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 5) of severe weather for isolated damaging thunderstorm winds. Additionally, flash flooding will remain a possibility throughout the weekend due to the potential for extended precipitation and repeated heavy downpours. Stay weather aware over the coming days!

Moderate chances of rainfall persist into the middle part of next week as multiple disturbances pass through the region. Highs through Wednesday look to stay around 80 each day, with lows each night in the mid- to upper-60s.
