Forecast Discussion
A large ridge will overtake much of the region for much of this week, though a small trough may sneak in by Friday and Saturday. Chilly conditions will persist tonight and tomorrow, but an approaching low-pressure system to the north will bring a warm front over the region Wednesday, allowing temperatures to possibly rise into the mid-60s by then. The rain expected from that system will remain to the north, but we may see a return of rain by Friday as a stronger low moves through. The bulk of the rain for southeastern Ohio may hit primarily in the afternoon and evening hours and may be heavy at times. Gusty conditions can be expected Wednesday and Friday with the arrival of both low-pressure systems both days, and we may see gusts of up to 25 mph in some spots! Overall, generally calm conditions for much of this week, but unsettled weather may return by the end of this week.
