A bit foggy this morning as we enter the last day of sunshine is in store before cloud cover increases tonight as a system rolls into the region. This will bring chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms tomorrow becoming more widespread overnight. This system will linger into Sunday, though there is a lot of uncertainty with its movement beginning on Monday. Right now, forecasts are leaning toward a chance for stray showers and thunderstorms on Monday, however, that will likely change as we approach Sunday. Its movement will also determine our flood threat. While we are in a Slight Risk (level 2 out of 4) for excessive rainfall on Sunday, if the system continues into Monday, the area will see more localized flooding than originally predicted.
