Forecast Discussion
A slight ridge in the upper level jet will allow a stationary front at the surface to lift north as a warm front today. This will warm us up into the lower and middle 70s today, but will also cause rain showers to develop as we go throughout the day. A week upper level trough will move through tonight and into tomorrow, further enhancing the area of low pressure. This will allow a cold front off to our west to strengthen, and push cold air into the region. This will also stir up some thunderstorms in the early afternoon tomorrow. No severe weather is expected. This weekend looks to be chilly, with highs only reaching the lower and middle 60s. However, skies should be clear.
